Tennis does well against AA Glacier, Flathead on the road

Columbia Falls downed the Glacier boys last Tuesday, while the Wolfpack girls took a 5-3 victory over the Wildkats at FVCC in high school tennis.

The Wildcat boys took all four singles matches, including a three-set victory for William Oberholtzer in the No. 1 match over Colton Mantovani. 

The Wolfpack girls claimed three of the doubles matches and the split the singles matches. 

Columbia Falls also swept Flathead Tuesday with the girls winning 7-1 and the boys winning 6-2. 

In that contest, notables included Bailey Windauer dropping Sarah Loran 6-1, 6-1 in No. 1 singles,  while Alanis Petersen and Madi Yerian dropped Nina Parris and Sienna Blanchard 5-7, 6-0, 10-5 in doubles. On the boys’ side, Jack Austin and Sol Masters dropped Joel Jones and Alex Miller 6-0, 6-2. The Cats were supposed to have matches at home Thursday, but they were canceled due to snow.
