Karley Allen’s RBI double tied the score in the sixth inning, and two batters later Taelor Holt hit a two-run single that lifted Glacier over Columbia Falls 11-9 in non-conference softball Tuesday at Glacier High School.
Holt’s second and third RBIs completed a comeback for the AA Wolfpack (8-3), who trailed 5-0 in the first, 8-6 in the fifth and 9-8 going to their half of the sixth.
The Class A Wildkats (4-3) got four RBIs from Kylie Gjesdal-Davis, including a two-run double in the first. Bella Mann followed with a double, and then Katie Bulawsky hit a two-run homer to center.
An RBI double by Holt and two-run home run by Ava Grady cut Glacier’s deficit to 5-3, but the Pack didn’t catch the Kats until the end despite three runs in the sixth.
Alexa Friske singled in a run to put C-Falls up 8-6 in the fourth; Glacier drew even in the fifth thanks to back-to-back doubles by Holt and Grady and a sac fly from Sophia Frederick.
Gjesdal-Davis squeezed home Alexa Friske in the sixth inning for a short-lived 9-8 lead. After the Pack rallied again, Grady threw a scoreless seventh inning, fanning two.
