City of Coeur d’Alene CDBG Entitlement Program Notice of Funding Availability The City of Coeur d’Alene hereby gives Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) as part of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Community Opportunity Grant (COG) and invites competitive grant proposals for projects that benefit low- and moderate- income (LMI) persons or neighborhoods in the City of Coeur d’Alene. Funding for the grant program comes from the City’s CDBG allocation, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) (reference 24 CFR Part 570). The City has been notified that its Plan Year 2026 (October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027) allocation will be $272,696. It is anticipated that there will be approximately $60,020 available in Plan Year 2026 COG funding, which includes $4,863 of remaining Plan Year 2022 grant funds for reallocation. A maximum of $20,904 will be available for Public Service projects. Eligible projects will be considered including Public Facilities, Public Services, and LMI Affordable Housing, including for-sale and for-rent products.
