McCartain, a senior from North Idaho College, shot a 4-under-par 209 to finish second in the Battle of Idaho against Boise State at Hillcrest Country Club in Boise, earning Big Sky Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week. The senior also earned the award on April 2.
