Troy Shepard

Shepard, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound senior left-handed pitcher from Coeur d'Alene High, is 2-3 on the season in nine starts for the Salukis (16-23, 7-5 Missouri Valley Conference), striking out 56 in 10 appearances and allowing opponents a .198 batting average. Shepard holds a 4.05 earned run average. Shepard played his first two years at Spokane Colleges before transferring to Washington State in 2025.

Liam Paddack

Winston-Salem Dash

Paddack, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound left-handed pitcher from Coeur d'Alene High, is 1-0 for the Dash, a High-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, appearing in three games and striking out 11 this season.

Utah track and field

Peters, a junior from Post Falls High, finished fourth in the women's 5,000-meter run at the Oregon Invitational, finishing in 16 minutes, 6.94 seconds last Friday at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

Josh McCartain

Idaho men’s golf

McCartain, a senior from North Idaho College, shot a 4-under-par 209 to finish second in the Battle of Idaho against Boise State at Hillcrest Country Club in Boise, earning Big Sky Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week. The senior also earned the award on April 2.
