Golf for the Griz tournament set for June 5

The Mission Mountain Chapter of the Grizzly Scholarship Association its hosting its annual Golf for the Griz Memorial Tournament on Friday, June 5, at Mission Mountain Golf Club in Ronan. All proceeds go for Grizzly athletic scholarships.

The four-person scramble begins at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start. Guests will include Grizzly coaches and athletic department representatives who will be participating in the scramble and presenting a brief program prior to the start of the tournament.

Registration fees are $500 per team or $125 per golfer which includes greens fees, cart, prizes, dinner and a snack-bar buffet. Dinner will be served starting at 4 p.m. and extra tickets are available for $25 each.

Also included in the event is a silent auction and 50-50 drawing.

The early entry deadline is 5 p.m. June 4, although entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the limit of 36 teams is reached.
