Someone reportedly slashed tires on a vehicle and ran away.
Multiple people yelled at a drunk man to stop him from leaving and driving away. This angered the man, and he allegedly tried to grab a gun from a dresser drawer that was blocked by two people. People were heard telling a woman to walk away, but she said she couldn’t because someone might get hurt. Kalispell Police officers detained the man.
A Toyota Rav4 nearly hit two pedestrians before parking.
Someone called the police, saying they suspected a nurse — who was getting off a 12-hour shift — of being intoxicated. They were concerned she was going to drive, saying they tried to get her to take a drug test by having her blood drawn. She refused. Officers spoke to the crying nurse, who reportedly said she and her supervisor had a disagreement about morphine dosing and timing, and thought the accusation that she was intoxicated was done in retaliation. She planned to contact an attorney about the purported hostile work environment. Officers did not observe any indicators that she was impaired.
A woman, who previously reported her stolen Samsung Galaxy smartphone in March, called back saying the phone was stolen four weeks ago, or possibly at the beginning of April. Police noted that the stories and timelines weren’t matching up and gave her a case report number to give her insurance company.
Someone complained to police that an ex sent slanderous text messages to their boss.
A black Chevy pickup drove around a school, which made someone suspicious enough to call the police, saying they had never seen the truck in the area before.
