Boundary County Little League is returning this spring with increased participation and an expanded lineup of teams, signaling continued growth for the youth program.
League organizers said registration for the 2026 season has jumped significantly compared to last year, with 35 additional players joining since 2025.
Softball has six teams this season, with two teams in each age bracket. Baseball will include 13 teams across three age brackets: seven Minors teams (ages 7-10), four Majors teams (ages 11-12), and two Juniors teams (ages 13-15).
League officials said they are looking forward to the season and the opportunity to see young athletes compete across the county.
Opening day is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, with ceremonies beginning at 9 a.m. at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. The games will start at 10 a.m.
Throughout the season, games will be held at the fairgrounds and Riverside Park, with older divisions also playing at the Bonners Ferry High School field.
Community members are encouraged to attend games and support local players.
In addition to the upcoming season, the league is seeking donations to help fund equipment purchases and field improvements. Those interested in contributing can visit Idahogives.org and search for Boundary County Little League to find the organization’s donation page.
