The city of Moyie Springs continues to make steady and meaningful progress as we look back on the past year and ahead to a bright future.
One of the most significant accomplishments for the city has been the completion of its long-anticipated sewer system upgrade. This project, which has been a major focus since 2019, represents a critical investment in the city’s infrastructure. The modernized sewer system not only improves efficiency and reliability in daily operations but also positions Moyie Springs for future growth.
Community events continue to be a cornerstone of life in Moyie Springs. Over the past year, the city proudly hosted a number of well-attended gatherings that brought residents and visitors together. The Christmas Craft Fair saw strong participation and festive spirit, highlighting the creativity and community pride of the area.
Seasonal favorites such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat, and the Outdoor Market provided opportunities for families to gather, celebrate, and build lasting connections. In addition, Clean Up Day demonstrated the community’s shared commitment to keeping Moyie Springs beautiful and welcoming.
The City Park remains a central hub of activity, regularly enjoyed by families throughout the area. The park continues to serve as a valued space that enhances the quality of life for residents of all ages.
Looking ahead, the city is excited about continued development, including the addition of a new post office, which will be located next to City Hall and is expected to be completed this summer. This addition will provide increased convenience and service for residents while contributing to the continued growth and accessibility of the community.
Behind these accomplishments is the ongoing dedication of the City Council and staff, who work diligently to serve the people of Moyie Springs. Their efforts ensure that the city remains well-managed, forward-thinking, and responsive to the needs of its residents.
