On the fence about the primaries?

A mailing from Bonner County Republican Central Committee (Scott Herndon, head) says all their recommended candidates stand for the same things, including cutting taxes and reining in spending. How do they do that without losing critical government services?

Republican Senator Jim Woodward takes a different approach. He says, for example:

In the first four years I served in the Senate, I voted for two separate income tax cuts and three separate tax rebates that returned more than a billion dollars to Idaho taxpayers. Last year, I voted against an income tax cut because I could see we were starting to lose the balance between cutting taxes and meeting our ability to fund valid state functions including education, transportation, prisons, and others ... this year to take $275 million dollars away from ITD and our local road and bridge departments because of the income tax cut last year. That translates into rougher roads and more congested roads.

Senator Woodwood judges bills on their own merits and what their effects are now, Then he explains them, rather than firing slogans at us.

A vote for Woodward is a vote for wisdom and District 1. You are the best judge of what effects you. Read more about Woodward positions at woodwardforsenate.org. Compare the slogans at herndonforidaho.com
