Upcoming events at the Pearl Theater

The Pearl Theater has always been the venue to see concerts and plays in Bonners Ferry, but the theater is expanding programs to include a wider variety of events. Events offered at the Pearl now include groups, workshops, karaoke, and much more. 


Tuesday, April 21 — Belly Dance for Fun & Fitness, 6:15-7:15 p.m.  

Belly Dance for Fun & Fitness is designed for all ages and body types. Each hour-long class includes a short warm-up followed by instructions and drills and ending with a cool-down session. Organizers encourage participants to wear comfortable clothes for movement. Coin hip belts are provided.   

Doors open at 6 p.m. The class is $10 per session or $30 for a four-week pass. 


Friday, April 24 — Women’s Healthcare on the Line, 7 p.m.  

The Pro-Voice Project present “Women’s Healthcare on the Line: Idaho Providers Speak,” a documentary-style stage production sharing the real stories of Idaho physicians navigating the state’s current healthcare landscape. Performed by local actors, the piece is based on interviews with providers and explores the impact of recent policy changes, particularly in rural communities. 

The performance will be followed by a panel discussion featuring medical, legal and patient experiences, with audience participation encouraged.

Sunday, April 26 — Conscious Dance for Self-Care , 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. 

Conscious Dance for Self-Care offers a guided movement experience focused on relaxation, expression and personal wellness in a supportive environment. The event is open to all experience levels. 

Tickets are $15 online or $22 at the door. 


Thursday, April 30 — Performers Circle, 6 p.m.   

Performers Circle is the Pearl's longest-running event. Attendees are encouraged to bring a song or spoken word to the circle or to come and enjoy a night of artistic collaboration. This is a free event. 

Friday, May 1 — 18-plus Karaoke, 7 p.m.  

Karaoke for ages 18 and above. This is a free event. Beer and cocktails will be available for purchase. 


Sunday, May 3 — Pink Pony Brunch, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.    

Pink Pony Brunch is an 18-and-over drag show and brunch featuring LBee the Drag Jack, Ella Lamoureux and Ofelia.  

Pink Pony Pass tickets, which include brunch, are $30. General admission tickets are $15, with drinks available a la carte. Visit www.thehistoricpearltheater.org for tickets.


Built in 1894, the Pearl Theater was originally the first Catholic church in Bonners Ferry. The historic building is now a theater that is home to a variety of performances, arts and other events, in the community.         

The Pearl Theater, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2012 with the goal of providing quality performing arts in an intimate historic downtown art house. The Pearl Theater’s objective as a nonprofit is to foster and develop the artistic talents and skills of community members of all ages, to serve as an outreach to encourage and facilitate social activities, and to nurture excellence in the performing arts through the presentation of performing artists from the local area as well as national and international arenas.       

The theater is available for rent for personal and public events.
