Rosella B. Frame, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully April 22, 2026, at the age of 87. She was born in McKeesport, Pa., on Jan. 30, 1939, to Rose V. Beres and William S. Beres.

Rosella was raised in a Christian home and attended St. Stephen’s Catholic Church and St. Stephen’s Elementary School. “Ro,” as she was affectionately known, graduated from Duquesne High School, where she formed friendships and memories that lasted a lifetime. With an adventurous spirit and an open heart, Ro made her home in many places over the years, including Southern California, where her first son, Kenneth, was born, and Las Vegas, where she found and married the love of her life, Douglas G. Frame Sr., in a little chapel. The couple traveled extensively with the Air Force: through Seoul, South Korea; back to California, where their son, Doug Jr., was born; to Wiesbaden, Germany, for several years; and to Athens, Greece, where their last child, Kathryn Ann, was born.

In 1974, Doug retired from the military and they made their way out to beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where they became members of the Church of Christ. Ro’s commitment of faith would be her anchor for more than five decades. She loved her church family dearly and found deep joy in worship, fellowship and service. Ro’s faith was woven into the fabric of her everyday life: her kindness, generosity and gentle encouragement touched many as she had a way of making others feel welcomed, loved and valued.

Ro adored attending her grandson’s basketball and football games, keeping up with the political changes in the world, and sharing conversation with those whom she loved.

Above all, Ro cherished her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Frame Sr.; her mother, Rose V. Beres; her father, William S. Beres; and her sisters, Lorreta Whittaker and Eleanor Beres. She is survived by her brother, Andrew Beres (Ivelisse); her sister, Elizabeth Beres; her children, Ken Peller (Cindy), Doug Frame Jr. (JoAnn) and Kathryn Childs (Brian); her grandchildren, Conner and Parker Childs, Abby and Autumn Peller, Beau Chandler, Alex, Nick and Nicole Frame; nieces Luanne, Lisa and nephew Johnny Whittaker of California, and many dear friends whose lives were made richer by knowing her.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 28, at 1 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home, 744 N. Fourth St., in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and to celebrate Ro’s beautiful life and faithful spirit. Interment will follow at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are provided by Yates Funeral Home. www.yatesfuneralhomes.com.
