Bruce Larsen, 71, passed away unexpectedly March 2, 2026, in Spokane, Wash. Bruce was born March 27, 1954, in Kellogg, Idaho, to Leslie and Margaret Larsen. Bruce is survived by his brothers, Eric and Dean, and Sally Breuer, his beloved partner and soulmate of 27 years.

Bruce graduated from Kellogg High School, received his associate's degree from North Idaho College, and his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University. In his early years, he worked with the Forest Service and later founded his land surveying company, LandTek.

Bruce was an avid golfer and fisherman, finding his ultimate joy in the outdoors. He loved smoking his catches and sharing with friends. Known for his dry wit and infectious laugh, Bruce cherished socializing with those he considered to be part of his “Ohana,” an extended family who were blessed to share in his many humorous exploits. Whether playing pool or enjoying time on the golf course or the water, or keeping up with “his” Zags, Bruce approached life with a unique perspective that endeared him to all who knew him.

Bruce will be remembered as a thoughtful and caring man whose presence brought laughter and warmth to those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know him and call him a friend.

A Celebration of Life service will be held June 13, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Kellogg Elks, 202 McKinley Ave. All are welcome.
