Brady Lewellen backed his own solid pitching with three runs batted in, and Glacier held down Great Falls High 6-2 in non-conference high school baseball Saturday at Griffin Field.

The Wolfpack went 1-1 on the day, falling to Great Falls CMR 8-5 later Saturday despite a 4-for-4 day from Kaeden Kahler.

Lewellen allowed two hits, one walk and one unearned run in five innings, striking out eight, and his two-run double made it 3-0 in the third inning.

Kyler Croft hit a sacrifice fly in the first inning for the Wolfpack (7-2), and Kahler had a two-run single in Glacier’s three-run third inning. Kahler later scored on Lewellen’s single.

Ryne Gillette took over on the hill in the sixth inning and when he ran into trouble in the seventh — he issued a bases-loaded walk to Cale Griffith — Kyler Croft retired the next two Bison for the save.

The Bison fell to 2-8.
