A mail carrier driving an older white Ford Explorer with a dangling side mirror allegedly almost ran over a woman on a walking trail. Then the driver got out of the vehicle and yelled at her before speeding away. The disorderly conduct may have stemmed from a misunderstanding about a lost dog she was reportedly walking with, trying to find its owner.
A student on his way to school reportedly walked by a house and was accosted by two men who started yelling at him to stay put. He kept walking when the pair allegedly drove up in a red two-door truck and tried to run him over, yelling accusations about looking in their windows and trying to open the front door. He did not want to pursue charges and his mother told the police that a warning for the men would suffice.
A man called with questions about a third party reportedly putting up yard signs on his property.
Someone was suspicious of two large backpacks allegedly left in front of a museum and called the police when someone didn’t grab them after 15 minutes.
A caller complained about an SUV parked off the road for hours, wanting it gone. The caller also complained about ongoing issues with litter and drug use before hanging up. The vehicle was legally parked and officers didn’t see any litter or signs of drug use.
