Sarah Gloyn hit a two run single in the third inning, and Joci Lee struck out 12 for Kellogg.

KELLOGG — Joci Lee and Bella Schillereff each had four hits on the day, and Lee struck out 15 in the second game as the Wildcats swept the Bulldogs at Kellogg Middle School, moving ahead of Grangeville into second place in the Central Idaho League.  

Sarah Gloyn drove in three runs in the first game for Kellogg.  

Caryss Barger went 3 for 4 with a solo homer and three RBIs in the second game for Grangeville.  

Kellogg wraps up the regular season Thursday at Timberlake.

HARRISON FLATS — Kootenai Classical Academy of Post Falls swept team titles at the 2A/1A District 1 Championship meet at Kootenai High on Tuesday.

Timberlake’s Noble wins in playoff at StoneRidge 

BLANCHARD — Timberlake’s Rose Noble won a playoff against Kellogg’s Kendyl Bircher for girls medalist at the Priest River Invitational at StoneRidge Golf Course. 

Noble and Bircher had a putt-off for the title, with Noble edging Bircher. 

Patrick Young of Bonners Ferry won boys medalist with a 1-overpar 72. 

Priest River won the boys team title and Kellogg claimed the girls team title.

OSBURN — The Wildcats split a Central Idaho League doubleheader with the Bulldogs at Morehouse Field. The win in the second game allowed the Wildcats to clinch the third seed in the upcoming District 1/2 Tournament in Orofino on Wednesday.

NORTH IDAHO ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME

- 4/25 

Kellogg junior wrestler Colton Storey was named to the North Idaho Athletic Hall of Fame during a ceremony on Saturday evening.  

Storey recently completed a 38-2 season on his way to his second 3A 113-pound championship.  

Storey is sharing this year’s honor with St. Maries senior Zach David, the 3A 150-pound champion.
