Weather delays hamper Sportsman bridge work

Due to recent weather delays, the Montana Department of Transportation and Sletten Construction planned to resume pouring concrete for the new bridge foundation on Tuesday, April 28, and Wednesday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

During this work, the bridge’s eastbound lane will be closed. Traffic will travel in a single lane controlled by temporary traffic signals and flaggers. Motorists should plan for delays of up to 15 minutes.

Drivers are asked to please slow down, follow traffic control, and watch for workers and equipment. Speed limits will be reduced to 25 mph within the project area.
