Mineral County Environmental Health and Planning Department Sponsored 8-Hour Hazwoper Refresher Training This Department is seeking interested emergency services personnel, local contractors, and equipment operators from Mineral County to take an 8-hour Hazwoper refresher training class. Emergency services personnel, contractors, and operators from Mineral County with a Montana Contractors license, owner of a business or company and their employees will have first priority for the class. Class size is limited and will be first come first served. Qualified individuals will be sponsored and eligible to attend the class. MINERAL GOUNTY’S NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR PRINCI PAL CONSULTANT..ARCH ITECT FOR COUNTY’S BUI LDI NGS Please be advised that MINERAL COUNTY, a political subdivision of the state of Montana, is now soliciting statements (packets) of qualifications and experience to be used in selecting a Principal Consultant (architect, design engineer or other firm) to provide ARCHITECT SERVICES for Mineral County’s buildings, including but not limited to the Mineral County Courthouse’s front entry facade, Mineral County Detention Center mechanical and electrical system renovations and reroof project. Current design options for this project and others have been developed through a recent Preliminary Architecture Report and the projects need implemented. Specific projects shall be completed on a schedule to be mutually agreed upon. The architect or design engineer or firm will be responsible for performing all general on-call architecture and engineering services for a period of five (5) years. Mineral County is an Equal Opportunity Employer. One original, three (3) photocopies and a PDF on flash drive of each firm’s qualifications and experiences’ packet must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside with the language, “Statement of Qualifications - Mineral County Architect Services”. The Selection Criteria have been set by Mineral County and will be provided upon request. The contract will be awarded to the Principal Consultant with the highest overall score based upon the Selection Criteria. The successful consultant must enter into a contract with Mineral County, and the contract shall require the consultant’s proof of workers’ compensation and customary commercial, general liability insurance. All such contracts must require that the consultant, and any employees hired and subcontractors are retained, on the basis of merit and qualifications, and may not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, creed, gender, age, and the like pursuant to MCA Section 49-3-207 . The County may need to hold back ‘l% of the contract price of certain projects until completion, as required by law. All applicable prevailing wage laws must be followed. Sealed, written qualifications and experience packets must be received by the Mineral County Clerk & Recorder, 300 River St, Superior, MT 59872 by 5:00 pm local time on May 6, 2026. The sealed envelopes with submitted packets will be opened in a public meeting before the Board of Mineral County Commissioners at their office on Thursday, May 7 ,2026 at 10:00 am local time.
