Beardsall, a junior, drove in eight runs, hitting a two-run home run in the first game, in a doubleheader sweep of Bonners Ferry last Friday to clinch the Intermountain League title for the Tigers. “Nate has taken massive strides this year at the plate in terms of consistency,” Timberlake coach Bryce Johnson said. “He’s become a very well-rounded hitter, a tough out, and has a great amount of pop. He’s stepped up on the mound and become a really quality third starter for us.”
