ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Vanessa Rogier, Clark Fork Track & Field

This week's Athlete of the Week is Vanessa Rogier of Clark Fork Track & Field.

A freshman, Vanessa won the long jump (14 feet, 11.5 inches) and was second in the triple jump with a new personal best (30 feet, 9.75 inches) as she scored 22 points on her own at the Lake Pend Oreille Invitational. The standout sprinter and jumper then followed that up with a second-place finish in the long jump (14 feet, 10.5 inches) at the Libby Invite and was third out of 28 with a new personal best in the event (15 feet) at the Timberlake Invite.
