Paced by Jamie Cleveland, who placed in three events for the girls, and Chet Hill who placed in three events for the boys, the St. Regis Tiger track and field teams competed in the Thompson Falls Invitational at Previs Field April 21.

Cleveland won second place in the 100 meter dash in 14.20 seconds, fourth in the 200 in 29.87 and fourth in the long jump with a best effort of 14-4.5 to score all 16 points for the St. Regis girls in Thompson Falls.

Hill did his best work in the high jump, clearing 5-0 to tie teammate Isaac Kelly for third place, also placing fourth in the 1600 meter run (in 5:10) and sixth in the 400 (58.93) as the Tiger boys totaled 15 points in the meet.

Coach Jesse Allan and his Tigers head north to the Bigfork Invitational Saturday in the team’s only scheduled action this week.
