First Interstate Bank celebrated $100 million in total giving since the inception of its foundation, the First Interstate BancSystem Foundation, in 1990. This milestone reflects the bank’s values and goal of building stronger communities in the areas in which it operates.

Whitefish was one of 275 branches across 10 states that celebrated the milestone last week.

“Over that time, our industry has evolved significantly, but FIB’s commitment to community has never wavered,” said Brenden Craig, the bank’s Western Montana state president and employee of 23 years.

“Today is a powerful example as we celebrate reaching $100 million in giving while supporting the North Valley Food Bank with a $10,000 contribution,” Craig added. “I’m proud to be part of a company that consistently invests in the communities we call home.”
