Gordon Lee Jennings went to be with his Lord on April 18, 2026, at home in Post Falls. He was born Feb. 26, 1942, in Spokane, Wash., to Norman Edward and Dorothy (Benton) Jennings.
He graduated from Cheney High School in Washington and joined the Army in 1960. He married Linda Reams in 1963 and had three daughters. They divorced in 1971.
A friend introduced him to Sharon (Riggs) Duncan as a potential bowling partner in September 1971. They became bowling partners and married in December, becoming partners for life for 54 years.
Gordon is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Dennis, and his sister, Dorothy Churchill. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter Yvonne Ellison, of Tumwater, Wash.; Veronica Sullivan (Mike), of Sacramento, Calif.; Stacia Colombini (Chet); and Charles Jennings, of Post Falls. Seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, brothers Alan Jennings (Diane) of Twin Lakes, Idaho, John Churchill (Jane) of Pinson, Ala., Peter Churchill of Wash., sister Claudia Randolph (Loren) of Meridian, Idaho, and several nieces and nephews.
