EUREKA — Josh Lambertsen keeps racking up wins and school records.

The Eureka senior won the 100, 200 and pole vault at the Eureka Elite Top 8 meet held Tuesday, and his 200 time of 22.68 seconds reset the school record he established Saturday at the Iceberg Invitational (22.71). It’s unofficially the No. 5 in in Class B.

Lambertsen also hit his personal record in the 100, winning in 11.35. His winning pole vault was 12 feet, 3 inches.

The other multiple winner among the boys was Browning junior Robert Miller, who swept the hurdles. His time of 41.65 in the 300s was good enough to shade Eureka’s River Traina and Browning’s Kayden Rutherford. All three hit PRs; Miller’s time since fifth in Class A.

The Indians found more gold with Jasiah Rider (800), River Racine (1,600), Royce Madplume (discus), Kayden Rutherford (long jump) and Noah Butterfly (high jump).

Libby’s Colter Anderson won the boys 400, and teammate Urijah Bache won the javelin.

Besides Lambertsen, the Lions saw Benjamin Hughes take the 3,200.

The meet drew athletes from five schools: Eureka, Libby, Browning, Plains and Noxon, and Browning brought some talent.

Senior Teslin Trombley won four girls events: The high jump, long jump, triple jump and 100-meter dash. Her winning long jump of 16-10 was a PR (and is eighth in Class A), as was her 100 time of 13.52.

Other Browning victories came from Akira NightGun (discus) and Peyton Eaglefeathers (1,600)

Plains’ Kalli Tuma was a triple-winner among the girls, taking the 400-meter dash as well as both hurdles races. Also notching wins for Plains were Reese Meredith (200), Savannah Costner (3,200)  and Annika Ercanbrack (800).

Eureka’s Gabriele Wells won the shot put and teammate Kricket Bridges won the pole vault.
