Flathead Rivers Alliance and Montana Kayak Academy co-present the 21st annual Paddling Film Festival World Tour at the O’Shaughnessy Center at 1 Central Ave. in Whitefish on Saturday, May 2 from 7 –9 p.m.
The Paddling Film Festival is an internationally renowned adventure film tour showcasing the very best paddling films from around the globe. This year’s lineup features an inspiring mix of whitewater kayaking, rafting, canoeing, sea kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding films, blending adrenaline-pumping action with powerful storytelling and environmental connection.
Proceeds from ticket and raffle sales directly support Flathead Rivers Alliance and Montana Kayak Academy’s nonprofit work, including river access, education, safety programming and youth paddling initiatives across the Flathead Valley.
Attendees can participate in a highly anticipated raffle featuring thousands of dollars in prizes. Past offerings included backcountry flight packages, premium outdoor gear, guided river trips, fishing experiences, festival tickets and paddling equipment.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to connect with fellow river enthusiasts, meet local organizations, and celebrate the start of another river season. Beverages and food are available.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Advance ticket purchase is encouraged, as this event sold out last year.
