Job fair

Bigfork Job Fair at Bigfork High School, April 29. Hiring hour from 12:40-1:40 p.m. is reserved for businesses actively hiring and ready to connect with students seeking employment. Career exploration hour from 2-3 p.m. is designed for businesses who want to share what they do, highlight career paths and build relationships with future workforce talent.

The Flathead County Board of Adjustment meets May 5 at 6 p.m., 40 11th Street West Suite 200, Kalispell.

Montana Spartan Race is May 9-10 at Wrangler Springs Ranch in Bigfork.

Planning Board

The Flathead County Planning Board meets May 10 at 6 p.m., 40 11th Street West Suite 200, Kalispell.

Founder’s Day Celebration

Bigfork’s 125th Founder’s Day Celebration is May 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Bigfork.

School Board

The Bigfork School Board meets Wednesday, May 20 at 5 p.m. at the high school library.

Whitewater Festival

51st annual Bigfork Whitewater Festival is May 22-24 on the Wild Mile section of the Swan River in downtown Bigfork.

West Shore craft night

West Shore Community Library hosts a craft night the second Tuesday of the month from 6-8 p.m. Free and open to all adults. 

West Shore Community Dinner

The free community dinner is on the second Friday of each month from 5-6:30 p.m. Meet at The Gathering Place in Lakeside.

Bigfork Senior Center

Hot lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Recommended donation for meals is $4 for seniors age 60 and over, $6 for non-seniors. 

Community meal

A free community meal is at Bethany Lutheran Church every Wednesday. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. The church is at 8559 Montana 35.

Lakeside Senior Lunch

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m.-noon, at the Lakeside Chapel Gathering Place. To reserve a plate call Janice at 406-250-0148. $4 for 60 and older, $6 for anyone under 60.
