Vote Carlson, Kauffman for WFSA board

I’m writing to endorse Mark Carlson and Dave Kauffman for the Whitefish Fire Service Area Board. Both men are trustworthy, hard-working, and experienced leaders. They’re also experts on fire service around Whitefish. They have spent countless hours working to improve fire service fairly and equally for the whole area - not just one part. I have worked with them on the WFSA Board for the past several years, and I hope the residents of the WFSA will vote them back in so we can finish what we started.  

Mark Carlson has lived in this community his whole life and cares deeply about improving fire service for everyone. His experience as a retired volunteer firefighter for 24 years makes him a good person to understand what firefighters need and how to support local fire service.  

Dave Kauffman has also lived in this community his entire life and is committed to making the area better for us, our kids, and our neighbors. He is retired from the Sheriff’s department, so he is familiar with serving his community. He’s also been on the WFSA Board long enough to understand the problems and have a clear understanding of the path forward. 

There are five of us on the Whitefish Fire Service Area Board. We are all different and have different views, but we all agree on getting what is best for the whole community, not just one part of it. Their intentions are to keep Station #22 and not sell it, unlike what the other candidates have talked about doing.
