1. No response.

2. Three significant issues in District 1 are Idaho jobs for Idaho citizens, cost of living/affordable housing and rising taxes.

3. Illegal immigration impacts our schools, our hospitals, our housing and our public safety. Basic services which are supposed to be for Idahoans, are being used up on illegal aliens. We have to rein in the spending on programs that are unconstitutional.

4. I think it’s a critical issue that candidates run as Republicans, with no interest in following the Republican platform or voting as Republicans when they get into office. Our legislature would run more effectively if the elected officials were honest about where their loyalties lie.

5. Crossover voting is a huge problem. Why have political parties at all if there is infiltration of Democrats into the Republican Party? Idaho has a majority of conservative Republicans, yet, when it’s time for an election, all the Democrats have to do is register as Republicans and then do their best to install their liberal candidates. Are Democrats not able to win in an honest fashion? Clearly not.

6. Encourage them to go to church, for starters.

7. It’s not really a crisis. We all know the answer, and it’s to reduce spending, stay within our means, and resist the easy way out by depending on federal money.

8. See question no. 9.
9.  Question 8 and question 9 can be rolled into one answer. The state government is there in the event that the local boards don’t or won’t provide public safety, or they need other assistance in making sure that the rights of the people are protected.

10.  If you run as a Republican, when, if ever, was the last time you switched your political party? What is your answer? I have always been a Republican.

11. Idaho is worth fighting for; North Idaho is a special place and worth protecting. I have the knowledge and integrity to represent you in Boise.  I’m asking for your vote so we can get to work. Vote JANE on May 19. I am ... the RIGHT Sauter!
