Full caption: Sandpoint's Lilli Marti recently committed to continue her wrestling career at Treasure Valley Community College (NWAC) in Ontario, Ore. Primarily wrestling in the heavyweight division for the Lady Bulldogs, Marti finished out her high school career with an 87-33 record, which included a 27-6 record her senior season. At the 2026 All-Class State Championship, the standout senior made history, winning five of her six matches — four by pin — in the 32-person bracket to claim a bronze medal. Her resume also includes a second-place finish at Rollie Lane as a senior, a third-place finish at state in 2025, a sixth-place finish at state in 2024, and a pair of 5A District 1-2 titles as a sophomore and junior. "Coach Luis (Cisneros) is building something very special at TVCC," Sandpoint High wrestling coach Valerie Johansen said. "He is a coach that really pours everything he has into his teams. There is no doubt Lilli will thrive there. We can't wait to see what she does. She will be greatly missed and we are excited for this next journey for her."
