Vitalant blood drives set for May

Vitalant will host a pair of community blood drives in Bonners Ferry this May.

The first drive is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5, from 11 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gym, 6568 Alderson Lane. A second drive will take place Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Vitalant bus, which will be parked at 6519 Main St.

Donors who give blood in May will be entered for a chance to win one of three $10,000 gift cards as part of Vitalant’s spring promotion.

Organizers say 72 donors are needed.
