Vote for Reksten and better government

I heartily support Linda Reksten on the Republican ticket for House District 13.

Before retiring I worked with Montana’s legislature for most of my career. The best legislation happens when legislators work collaboratively with those with opposing views, resolve their differences and pass legislation that benefits Montanans. That is what I expect of the people I vote for.

Linda Reksten has demonstrated her ability to support a conservative agenda and efficient use of state funds but has also proven the courage to oppose party leadership and vote for legislation that is in the best interest of her constituents when she needs to.

When either party expects their membership to subserviently follow leadership direction regardless of their evaluation of a bill or input from their constituents, we lose representative government as charted in our constitution.

Vote for Linda and better government on June 2.
