William Russell (Russ) Hall

Russ was born in Blackfoot, Idaho to William and Florence (Hargraves) Hall. He was their fifth child. 

Russ graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1950. He joined the National Guard at the age of 17, serving three years before enlisting in the Air Force, where he spent four years serving his country. Russ married Elda B. Nielson on April 12, 1953, in Reno, Nevada. They had five children. During his service years, they lived in various states, including California and Texas. After his discharge from the military, he relocated his family to Firth, Idaho, where he worked as a welder for his brother. He later changed jobs and started to work for Sunspice. In 1965 he got the opportunity with Sunspice to relocate his family to Moses Lake, Washington. He remained with Sunspice until his retirement in 1997. 

After retirement he was hired as a consultant for Basic American Foods. This new endeavor allowed him and Elda to travel and visit much of the lower U.S. states. Upon his retirement they settled in Quartzsite, Arizona and there, with the help of their children, they built a house, allowing them to winter in Quartzsite and summer in Moses Lake with their kids and grandkids. 

Russ was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters, his wife Elda B. Hall and his son Andrew Hall. 

His is survived by his sister Joyce Hayford; his children Lee (Susan) Hall, William (Tami Dinges) Hall, Kent (Susie) Hall and Lanette (Billy) May; 11 grandkids; 24 great-grandkids and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
