Nordman went 14 for 22 with 10 RBIs for the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen in the state AA American Legion baseball tournament July 23-27 in Lewiston, leading the Lums to a third-place finish. “His experience behind the plate helped so much,” said Coeur d’Alene coach Sean MacNiven of Nordman, who caught each of Coeur d’Alene’s six games. “He knew how to control the pace of the game.” Nordman finished the season with a .407 (46 for 113) average.
