Jessica Holt, 44

Our beloved daughter, sister, mom and grandma, Jessica Mae Holt (Ness), 44, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Father in Heaven after a valiant battle with cancer on July 26.
Jessica was born June 7, 1982 in Salt Lake City to Rod C. and Kathy R. Ness. Rod and Kathy moved their family to Fortine, Montana in 1985, where Jessica was raised with her siblings; Jason, Sunny, Jacob, and Lindsey.
Jessica met her husband, Dave Holt in 1998, and they settled in Kalispell to raise their family; Ethan, Mya and Averie. When Jessica found herself a widow, she moved her family to Eureka to be near her parents and grandparents.
In the spring of 2025, Jessica was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon/rectal cancer. The doctors only gave her a few months to live, but they didn’t know how stubborn our Jess was. She was able to spend quality time with friends and family and make lasting memories for those left behind.
Jessica believed in being kind to everyone, and lived her life serving others and asking, “What would Jesus do?”
Jessica is survived by her parents, Rod and Kathy Ness, siblings; Jason, Sunny (Rick) Carlon, Jacob, and Lindsey (Chad) Evans, children; Ethan, Mya (Dominick) with granddaughter Thea, and Averie.
Jessica is preceded in death by her husband, Dave Holt, fiancé Chris Foster and brother Nicholas.
Services will be held at the Fortine Church on Saturday, August 8, at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at the Fortine Cemetery.
