Kalispell Police identify woman found dead amid suspicious circumstances

Authorities are investigating the death of a 62-year-old woman found in a home on the west side of Kalispell.

Kalispell Police officers discovered the body of city resident Julie Brandner while conducting a welfare check on the 700 block of 11th Avenue West at 9:47 a.m. on July 31. 

Brandner’s death was deemed suspicious and remains under investigation, but there is no known threat to the public, police officials said Tuesday. 

Authorities have notified Brander's next of kin. Additional information will be released as it becomes available and when it is appropriate to do so, officials said.
