MOSES LAKE SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 161 MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON NOTICE OF MEETING TO ADOPT 2026-27 BUDGET AND CONDUCT HEARING NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, that the Board of Directors of Moses Lake School District No. 161, Moses Lake, Washington will hold a board meeting on August 20, 2026 at 6:00 pm via Livestream or in person at 940 E. Yonezawa Blvd. Moses Lake, WA 98837. A link can be found on the website at mlsd161.org/sbmeetings. The meeting is called for the purpose of fixing and adopting the budget of the District for the ensuing 2026-27 fiscal year. Prior to adoption of the 2026-27 budget,the Board will hold a hearing for the purpose of receiving comments from the public on the 2026-27 budget. Any person may appear at the hearing and be heard for or against any part of the 2026-27 budget, the four-year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.240. Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board shall fix and determine the appropriation from each fund contained in the 2026-27 budget and shall, by resolution, adopt the 2026-27 budget, the four-year budget plan summary, and the four-year enrollment projection. The Housing Authority of Grant County has developed the following plans: HUD PHA Plan 2027 & Capital Fund Program Budget 2027 – 2031 (collectively, “the plans”), which it intends to implement on January 1, 2027. The plans, required by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, outline goals and objectives for the covered period. The plans will be available for public review from August 4, 2026, through September 21, 2026, at 12:30 P.M. at the Housing Authority office, located at 1139 Larson Boulevard in Moses Lake, WA.
