Swan Lake Huckleberry Festival planned

Continuing a more than 40-year tradition, the Swan Lake Huckleberry Festival will be held Aug. 8 with a day of food, music and fun on the shores of Swan Lake.
Start the day with a huckleberry pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. followed by a huckleberry baking contest at 11 a.m. Contest entries will be accepted at 10:30 a.m. Entries must be huckleberry-based with a minimum of three servings provided.
An arts and crafts fair will open at 9 a.m. with more than 50 booths featuring Montana-made and handmade works. Food trucks will be on-site and huckleberry pies and ice cream will also be available for purchase.
Other scheduled events include a silent auction, raffles and children's games in the afternoon. Live music will be performed by Silverado.
Swan Lake Day Park is located near mile marker 72 on Montana 83. Admission is free.
The festival is sponsored by the Swan Lake Chamber of Commerce and Community Club.
