Authorities are investigating a shooting in Martin City on Thursday that left one person hospitalized.
Flathead County Sheriff deputies and Columbia Falls Police officers were dispatched to the unincorporated community about 9:20 p.m., Aug. 6. They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound upon arrival, officials said.
Law enforcement personnel rendered aid to the victim until emergency medical personnel arrived. The man was transported to Logan Health Medical Center for further treatment.
The shooting appears to be isolated, authorities said. There is no known threat to the public.
