Man shot Thursday night in Martin City; few details released

Flathead County Sheriff’s Deputies and Columbia Falls Police responded to a report of a man being shot in Martin City Thursday night.

The incident happened about 9:20 p.m. and the man was treated on the scene and then transferred to Logan Health for further treatment. 

The incident remains under investigation, according to a press release from the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.  

“Based on information currently available, this appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no known threat to the public. Additional information will be released as appropriate as the investigation continues,” the Sheriff’s Department said in a release.
