Post Falls School District welcomes new leadership

As the 2026–2027 school year begins, Post Falls School District is welcoming several new leaders across the district.

Anna Wilson has been appointed superintendent for the 2026-2027 school year following the retirement of Dena Naccarato. Wilson will serve one year before retiring, concluding a 33-year career in public education.

A Post Falls High School graduate, Wilson previously served as assistant superintendent for Elementary Programs and deputy superintendent. She has focused on student success, leadership development and strong community partnerships throughout her career.

"It has been an honor to serve the students, staff, families and community of Post Falls," Wilson said. "I look forward to leading the district during the 2026-2027 school year and concluding my career in public education with the community that has shaped so much of my life."

Lisa Hoffeld has been selected to lead Prairie View Elementary. She began her career with Post Falls School District in 2000 and has served the district for more than 25 years, including the past 13 years as principal of West Ridge Elementary.

"I look forward to building relationships, supporting student success and making a positive impact as we learn and grow together," Hoffeld said.

Dan Davidian has been named principal of New Vision Alternative High School. He brings 30 years of educational experience, including 20 years teaching in alternative education and the past seven years as principal at Kellogg Middle School and Kellogg High School.

"I've spent much of my career working with students in alternative education, and I understand the importance of creating an environment where every student feels valued, supported and capable of success," Davidian said.

Heather Becker will become principal of Mullan Trail Elementary. She brings 15 years of leadership experience and most recently served as assistant principal at Seltice Elementary, where she focused on student achievement, family partnerships and school operations.

"Building strong relationships while maintaining high expectations for every student is essential," Becker said. "I look forward to partnering with the Mullan Trail community to support every child's success."

Tim Rice has been selected as principal of West Ridge Elementary after 20 years with Post Falls School District. His experience includes classroom teaching, physical education and the past two years as assistant principal at West Ridge, where he has supported instruction, school improvement and student success.

"I've been fortunate to spend my entire career serving the students and families of Post Falls," Rice said. "I'm honored to continue serving alongside our dedicated staff to ensure every student feels supported, challenged and inspired to succeed."
