SANDPOINT — Following a cancellation due to poor air quality, the Sandpoint Sasquatch travel baseball program has rescheduled tryouts for its 10U, 11U, and 14U teams. 

The first of the tryouts will be for the 14U team and take place on Sunday, Aug. 9 at the Pine Street Fields, 1572 Pine St., from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Sandpoint. 

The 10U tryouts will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at Travers Park, 2016 Pine St, in Sandpoint from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Also taking place at Travers Park, the 11U tryouts are scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 16 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

The previously scheduled 13U tryout's new date and time has yet to be announced by the organization.  

As fires continue in the Inland Northwest, these dates are subject to change and may vary depending on the region's Air Quality Index. Day-to-day updates can be found on the Sandpoint Sasquatch social media pages.
