Seattle man dies in crash on Highway 12

A Seattle man died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 12 near Powell, Idaho.

According to the Idaho State Police, the accident is believed to have occurred on July 30 at an unknown time. The 43-year-old rider of the motorcycle had been reported missing on July 31. 

Evidence found at the scene on Friday near milepost 161 indicated rider had been traveling eastbound when his motorcycle traveled off the left shoulder of the roadway and crashed into several trees, a press release said.

The crash remains under investigation.
