Kim Marie May, 63, of Kalispell, passed away on Sept. 5, 2025, after a courageous battle with mesothelioma.

Kim was born in Spokane, Washington, to Joan Day and Leo Stone.

Anyone who ever met Kim knew her laugh before they knew anything else about her. It was loud, infectious, and impossible to ignore. She had a vibrant personality that drew people in and made everyone feel welcome.

Kim dedicated more than 20 years of her career to Town Pump, where her outgoing nature and genuine kindness made her a favorite among customers and coworkers alike. She also cherished her close friendship with her partner in crime, Lacey, affectionately known as "Shug."

Kim found joy in reading, gambling, traveling, seeking new adventures and meeting new people. Above all else, she treasured time spent with her family. Her daughters meant the world to her, but it was the relationship with her grandchildren that brought her the greatest joy.

Kim's legacy is one of love, laughter, generosity and an adventurous spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will continue to bring comfort, smiles and inspiration to all who loved her.

Kim is survived by her brother, Mike Stone; her daughters, Christie May (Brent Brockman) and Jessica May (Jess Allen) and her cherished grandchildren, Tyler Brockman, Devin Brockman and Jaden Brockman.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Kim's life will be held on Friday, Sept. 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Moose's Lodge, 2166 La Salle Road, Kalispell, MT 59901. Family and friends are invited to come together to share stories, laughter and memories in honor of Kim's remarkable life.
