Law roundup: Hit-and-run suspect goes for clean getaway

A green Subaru went for a clean getaway on U.S. 93 South in Whitefish after reportedly hitting and damaging car wash equipment.

Whitefish Police Department officers stopped four boys riding scooters after 10 p.m. to advise them about the curfew ordinance.

Someone on Minnesota Avenue called the police to ask what options they had in getting a paddleboard back that they allegedly loaned out to a friend a year ago.

A railroad employee asked officers to move along a man reportedly sleeping by a storage building. He was cited for littering.

Officers stopped a vehicle on JP Road and U.S. 93 South, reportedly warning the driver about speeding, crossing the center line and failing to signal other drivers.

Someone reportedly thought they could make a parking problem disappear by removing a police notice to move it that was stickered to the vehicle on East Seventh Street and Kalispell Avenue. It was towed and cited for the parking violation.

Stolen goods were allegedly found on U.S. 93 South.
