Ruth was raised in Germany, and she met the love of her life while he was stationed there, and together they began a new chapter in the United States in the early 1950s. After building a life together in Colorado, they enjoyed a well-earned retirement in Kalispell. Ruth found joy in crocheting, going out to eat, playing games such as Rummikub — which she almost always won — and faithfully attending church. Above all, she will be remembered for her caring, selfless spirit, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
