William “Bill” Allen Schikora

William “Bill” Allen Schikora, 81, passed away on July 25, 2026, at his home in Libby, Montana. 

He was born Sept. 10, 1944, in Libby, Montana, to Lewis and Martha (Becker) Schikora.

Bill was married to his first wife, Nancy Schikora, for 29 years. He then married Juanita Guffey on June 5, 1993, at the cabin on Middle Thompson Lake. He worked for WR Grace, Noble Excavating and Lincoln County Road Department. 

He helped build roads and walkways at J. Neils Park and Bull River Campground. He maintained and built many surrounding roads in Lincoln County as well as some in Idaho. Bill retired in 2006 after he injured his leg from a fall from the county truck. After he retired, Bill spent his time with friends, family and things he loved to do.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Martha Schikora; first wife Nancy Schikora; son Billy Schikora; brothers David and Willie Schikora; and sisters Joyce Valcore and Lillian Schikora. 

He is survived by his wife Juanita Schikora; children Jeff Schikora of Libby, Montana, Jennifer Buster of Libby, Montana, Angela Sykes of Mexico, Missouri, Heath Booher of Indiana; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
