This week's Athlete of the Week is Joshua Jackson of the Sandpoint Sharks.

As a part of a stellar summer, Jackson was the hometown star of the Long Bridge Swim, placing third overall and second in his age group. He completed the 1.76-mile open water swim in 38:47. After his impressive swim at home, Jackson headed down to Boise to represent Sandpoint and the Inland Empire at the Western Zone Age Group Championships. He competed in several relay events and notched his best swim on Thursday with a 14th place finish in the 200-meter freestyle.
