Elsie Mae Calvert, 82

Elsie Mae Hill-Calvert, 82, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away July 25, 2026. Elsie was born July 23, 1944, in Peck, Idaho, to Grace (Rogers) and Jesse Slocum. She is survived by her children: Carrie Hill-Howard, Garry (Vicky) Hill and Kitrena (Keith) Brownsberger; sisters Betty Aiken and Verna (Steve) Lombard; and eight grandchildren: Austin, Taylor, Emmett, Zachary, Chandler, Kylee, Kaydence and Keatin. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brothers Jesse and Don; sister Nellie and husband John Calvert. 

She was an active member of the Athol American Legion Women's Auxiliary and raised her children through 4-H. Her spirit will live on in the hearts and actions of those she touched and will be deeply missed. 

She will be laid to rest near her mother at the Weseman Cemetery in Orofino, Idaho.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Athol Community Center, 30355 Third St., Athol, ID 83801.
