BRI KULAWINSKI of Plains and Nevaeh Christensen of Noxon played for the Air Force team in the VFW All-Star Classic in Belgrade last weekend. Thompson Falls-Noxon coach Jared Koskela also participated, coaching for the Marines team. The Air Force team finished second to the Coast Guard after eliminating the Marines from title contention earlier. Christensen earned a sportsmanship award following one of the Air Force’s early round games in the tournament, which featured the best players from all levels of Montana high school softball.
