PRIEST RIVER — Premier Tire is more than a business. They are friends, neighbors and community supporters. 

It is those extra definitions — and the actions behind them — that resulted in the Priest River Chamber of Commerce naming Premier Tire as its 2026 Business of the Year. 

Owned by Brennan Till as well as brother and sister-in-law David and Kantrel Till, the company, quite simply, represents the heart of the community, said the chamber’s Tiffiny Simpkins. 

“This honor is especially meaningful because it comes from you — the community,” Simpkins said at a recent awards banquet. “We had several people take the time to write in and nominate Premier Tire, sharing stories of their hard work, their generosity, and their willingness to step up whenever help is needed.” 

Among them was Jess Spaulding, who praised Premier Tire’s dedication and support of youth sports and other small businesses. 

“The employees are outstanding and bring the youth community together in different ways,” she said. “They go out of their way to help the other small businesses in the community and will travel to help a fellow business in need.” 

The company does more than sell tires and associated products. They are a dependable presence in Priest River,” Simpkins said. 

“Whether it’s helping a customer in a tough moment or quietly giving back to local efforts, they show up — again and again,” she added. “Their dedication doesn’t go unnoticed. It makes a difference in people’s lives, and it strengthens our entire community.” 

Chamber officials thanked the Tills for their commitment to Priest River as well as their hard work and generous spirit. 

“We are proud to have you here in Priest River,” Simpkins said. 

The brothers launched the Priest River location of Premier Tire in early 2024, followed by a second location in Ponderay to serve the greater Sandpoint area in January 2026.
