Polson Seniors: Membership continues to grow
Pete Mangels | Lake County Leader | UPDATED 2 hours, 27 minutes AGO
Our annual membership drive is underway. Last year’s membership totaled nearly 200! We are gaining new and renewing members every year.
The annual membership meeting will be held Friday, Aug. 28, at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon.
We need to elect four officers for one-year terms and two board members who will serve three-year terms. A full Report of income and expenditures and a summary of activities for our fiscal year will be presented.
Dues for new or renewing members for the 2026-2027 fiscal year are $15 (cheap) and are currently being accepted. Dues are not pro-rated. Regular attendees at the various regular activities must be members.
Our community center provides space for individuals and groups to meet for physical and mental health, social and educational purposes, and may be reserved for special events on weekends and evenings.
We are open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays, or later by appointment.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday ($5 donation; $10 without a completed MASTS form). Milk is available with all meals; delivery service is available for those who meet our guidelines.
Main dishes include meatloaf with baked spuds and honey carrots, Aug. 13; pork chops with creamy noodles, Aug. 14; split pea soup, Aug. 17; scalloped potatoes with ham, Aug. 18; crab-stuffed tomatoes, Aug. 19; beef enchiladas, Aug. 20; and chicken strips, Aug. 21.
